Introduction
SwiftLogic ("we," "us," or "our") operates PayHide: Hide Payment Methods, a Shopify application that helps merchants customize which payment methods appear at checkout. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you install or use the app.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may process:
- Shop and account data from Shopify — such as your store domain, OAuth access tokens, and optional staff profile fields (for example name and email) provided by Shopify when you log in to the embedded admin.
- App configuration — payment customization rules you create, stored in Shopify as payment customization and app metafield data.
- Technical data — standard server logs used to operate and secure the service.
Checkout conditions are evaluated via Shopify Functions. We do not intentionally collect end-customer checkout data in our database for marketing purposes.
How we use information
- Authenticate your store and provide the app's admin features
- Store and apply your payment customization rules at checkout
- Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations and Shopify platform requirements
Where data is stored
OAuth session data is stored in PostgreSQL on our hosting provider. Payment rule configuration is stored in your Shopify store. Data may be processed where our service providers operate.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us host and operate the app, when required by law, or to protect our rights and users.
Data retention
We retain OAuth session data while the app is installed. When you uninstall the app, we delete associated session records per Shopify uninstall and compliance webhooks.
Your rights and Shopify compliance
We support Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customer data request, customer redact, and shop redact). Merchants may contact us regarding data we hold.
Security
We use measures such as HTTPS and access controls. No method of storage is completely secure.
Children
The app is intended for merchants using Shopify and is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy by posting a revised version on this page.
